Ductile iron or composite?
Ductile iron for roads and anything D400 and above. Composite (B125–C250) where theft is a risk or weight matters: it has no scrap value and one person can lift it.
Clear opening vs. frame size — which do I quote?
Quote the clear opening: the free diameter or side length inside the frame, which is what the chamber needs. Frame outer size and height are listed on each product, so check them against the surround.
Can covers carry a custom logo or utility marking?
Yes, on orders of ductile iron covers we can cast a utility name or logo into the lid. Send the artwork with your request and we confirm the minimum quantity and lead time.
